What is the clearance between the bar and the ceiling?

The standard clearance to the ceiling is approx. 27 cm. Custom distances can be comfortably ordered via our Pull-Up Bar Configurator.

Is the mounting hardware included in the delivery?

Mounting hardware is optional, giving you the flexibility to choose exactly what you need. The appropriate mounting kit can easily be added separately to your shopping cart.

Is there an optimal mounting height? How high above the ground should the pull-up bar be?

Yes, ideally, the pull-up bar should hang about 30% above your body height. This ensures that you won't touch the ground when hanging freely. For example, if you are 1.80 m tall, the bar should be mounted at a height of approx. 2.34 m. The general rule of thumb is: Ideal mounting height = Body height * 1.3. If your ceiling height does not allow for this, you can simply bend your knees slightly during the workout.

What is the diameter of the pull-up bar?

The diameter of the tube at all gripping positions is a comfortable 30 mm (3 cm), providing a perfect and secure grip.

Are the grip ends knurled, roughened, or polished?

The grip ends are neither knurled nor roughened. They feature a premium brushed finish (ground with 240 grit). This means they are slightly more textured and matte than a polished surface, providing excellent grip without tearing up your hands.

Can the pull-up bar be mounted on wood?

Yes, mounting on wood is absolutely possible. You should use screws with wood threads (without dowels). It is essential to pre-drill the wood—for example, use a 3 to 4 mm drill bit for 8 mm screws. Ensure that the beam is massive, stable, and offers a sufficiently large surface area for the mounting plates. To prevent the wood from splintering, the drill holes should be at least 2 cm away from the edges.

Does the maximum load capacity of 500 kg include the user's body weight?

The maximum load capacity of 500 kg refers to the total absolute weight that the user (including any additional training weights) is allowed to apply to the bar.

Is the pull-up bar suitable for outdoor use?

Yes, thanks to its high-quality stainless steel construction, the pull-up bar can be used completely safely both indoors and outdoors.

Please note: The pull-up bar should not be installed in highly maritime atmospheres, meaning directly adjacent to a sea or ocean (e.g., directly on the North Sea, Baltic Sea, or Atlantic coast), as extreme salt air can corrode the material over time.

Can the pull-up bar hold a punching bag as well?

Yes, a punching bag can easily be attached to our models. You can hang it directly on the tube using a round sling and a carabiner. To prevent the punching bag from sliding along the bar during your workout, we also offer custom models with welded eyelets. See here: Pull-up bar with one or more eyelets.

Are the bars available in white or other colors?

No, we currently offer our pull-up bars exclusively in the classic, elegant stainless steel design.

Can a ceiling-mounted pull-up bar also be attached to a wall?

No, we strongly advise against this. Because ceiling models have bent ends, they would point in the wrong direction and become unusable if mounted on a wall. Furthermore, leverage forces are distributed differently in wall mounting, which could cause the bracket to break out of the wall (especially with softer masonry). Always choose our specific wall-mounted models for wall installations.

Is the actual pull-up bar made of solid steel?

No, the grip bar is made of a heavy-duty stainless steel tube with a wall thickness of 2 mm. This guarantees maximum stability while keeping the overall weight manageable.

Are the end caps made of stainless steel and permanently welded?

No, the cleanly fitted end caps are made of highly durable polyamide with a stainless steel look (coated plastic). They are firmly driven into the tube but not welded. Visually, they blend seamlessly into the design and color of the pull-up bar.

What are the dimensions of the shipping box?

The standard shipping box for models D, W, G, B, P, and S has uniform dimensions of 510 mm x 330 mm x 1190 mm (Height x Width x Length).

How heavy is the package?

The shipping weight for packages containing models D, W, G, B, P, and S is usually around 9 kg. Depending on the exact model (length of the cross struts, shape of the plates, number of additional grips), the actual weight may vary by approximately 200 to 500 grams.
