| Individual Length | |
| Made-to-measure length | Custom individual length, manufactured exactly according to provided measurements |
| Maximum length | 1980 mm |
| Note on custom length | The custom length must be provided after deducting 3 mm. A deduction of 3 mm from the measured distance is required to ensure the pull-up bar fits perfectly between the walls. Calculation example: Measured distance 1300 mm - 3 mm to ensure fit = custom length 1297 mm. The distance should be measured directly at the two designated mounting points using two folding rules. Specific measurement procedure (Recommendations)
Important: A deduction of 3 mm from the measured length is strictly necessary to guarantee the perfect fit of the pull-up bar. The required length must be measured as accurately as possible between the two desired mounting points, as walls are frequently not perfectly constructed or plastered. The distance between the walls often varies by 2 - 6 mm depending on the selected measuring points. If two folding rules are unavailable, the distance can alternatively be determined using just one folding rule. However, this method is significantly more tedious. Further information on determining the correct length can be found in the corresponding blog post. Determining the length with a laser distance meter If the length is to be determined using a laser distance meter, the actual total distance must be measured 3 - 5 times directly at the designated mounting location. The laser distance meter should be shifted by approximately 5 mm in various directions (up, down, left, and right) for each measurement, and an average of the measured lengths must then be calculated. Specific procedure for measuring with a laser distance meter (Recommendations)
If the walls are insulated, the E4 can still be mounted, provided the insulation is not too thick, the distance can be bridged with sleeves, or the insulation is removed from the mounting points so that the brackets rest directly on the masonry. In such cases, prior contact regarding the specific insulation thickness is required. |
| Construction notes | The tube is inserted into the U-shaped wall brackets from above. Since each wall bracket is 8 mm thick, the pull-up bar rests on the tabs for 13 mm (6.5 mm on each side) when the 3 mm deduction is applied. The tube of the E4 does not rotate. However, it is secured against upward movement. This means the tube can potentially jump out of the brackets in the event of excessive swinging, careless use, or when utilizing resistance bands/power tubes. Important: The E4 should only be ordered if the ability to remove the tube is absolutely essential. If removing the tube after use is not strictly necessary, the pull-up bar E2 is highly recommended - which is essentially the fully welded, fixed version of the E4 designed for hallways. |

| Mounting hardware | Optional, not included in the standard scope of delivery |
Is mounting hardware included in the scope of delivery?
Yes and no, as it can be selected optionally. Mounting hardware can also be added separately to the shopping cart here.
Is there an optimal mounting height? How high above the floor should the pull-up bar hang?
Yes, ideally the pull-up bar should hang 30% above the individual's body height. In this case, the floor will no longer be touched while hanging. This means, for example, for a body height of 1.8 m, the pull-up bar should hang 2.34 m above the floor. Generally, the following formula applies: Ideal mounting height = Body height x 1.3. If the room height does not allow for this, the legs must be bent slightly during use.
In the event of relocation, is it possible to order only the new bar (with new custom dimensions) without the wall brackets? Is the price reduced in this case?
Yes. A new pull-up bar can be manufactured in the corresponding length. The old bar can also be accepted as a trade-in (minus the costs for refurbishment).
Where can the pull-up bar E4 be mounted?
The pull-up bar E4 can be mounted between any sturdy walls. All hallways, passageways, or rooms with a width of up to 198 cm are highly suitable for this purpose.
It is crucial that the measured length is reduced by 3 mm. This ensures that the pull-up bar can always be brought from a diagonal position into a horizontal position at the designated mounting location.
What is the diameter of the pull-up bar and how thick is the material?
The diameter of the pull-up bar at all grip areas is 3 cm or 30 mm. The wall thickness of the tube is 3 mm. From a length of 1500 mm, the pull-up bar is manufactured as a fully welded tube-in-tube construction to guarantee exceptional rigidity even for these lengths.
Is the bar knurled, roughened, or polished?
All grip areas are unknurled and not roughened. They are brushed or ground with a grit size of 240. This means the surface offers slightly more grip and is rougher than a polished finish. If necessary, magnesium can be used to increase grip.
Can the pull-up bar also be mounted between wooden posts or on wood?
Yes, by using screws with a wood thread and without dowels. The wood should be pre-drilled, using a 3 to 4 mm drill bit for 8 mm screws. The wood or beam must be sturdy and provide a sufficiently large contact area for the mounting plates. The drill holes should be placed approximately 2 cm away from the edge to prevent the wood from splintering.
Can the concrete mounting set also be used on a wooden beam?
Yes, but the dowels are not required for this type of installation. The 8 mm hanger bolts included in this set also feature a wood thread and can be screwed directly into the wood. For this purpose, the wood simply needs to be pre-drilled with a 3 to 4 mm wood drill bit.
Is the person's weight included in the maximum load capacity of 120 kg?
The maximum load capacity refers to the maximum possible weight that the user is permitted to apply to the bar.
Is the pull-up bar also suitable for outdoor use?
Yes, the pull-up bar can be utilized outdoors as well as indoors, as it is manufactured from premium stainless steel.
It should be noted that the pull-up bar must not be installed in a maritime atmosphere, i.e., in close proximity to a sea or an ocean (e.g., the North Sea coast, the Baltic Sea coast, or the Atlantic coast).
Can the pull-up station also support a punching bag? Does the pull-up bar hold a punching bag as well?
Yes and no. Since the bar rests loosely in the wall brackets, it could potentially jump out during the use of a punching bag. Given this risk, such an application is not recommended. Specifically: The bar is not approved for this type of use.
Is the pull-up bar also available in white or another color?
No, the pull-up bar is currently not available in white or any other painted finish.
Is the actual pull-up bar made of solid steel?
No, the pull-up bar itself consists of a highly durable tube with a wall thickness of 3 mm. The wall plates are made of solid stainless steel.
How deep do the screws go into the wall?
The hanger bolts measure 8 x 60 mm. The dowels measure 10 x 50 mm. Consequently, the screws penetrate a solid 50 mm into the wall.
