Galvanized Mounting Screw Set for Indoor Installation

This screw set consists of galvanized wood screws (DIN 571) and is therefore exclusively suitable for the indoor installation of pull-up bars.

Installation in Concrete Ceilings / Concrete Walls:

When installing the wall plugs and screws in concrete ceilings or walls, it must be ensured that the drill holes are not too narrow; utilizing a new 10 mm drill bit is highly recommended. Drill dust must also be thoroughly removed from the hole. High-quality nylon wall plugs are included in the delivery. If the drill hole is too small or not cleaned properly, the wall plug grips the screw too tightly. This creates massive resistance, which can cause the screw head to snap off before it is fully inserted. This issue is strictly related to the size and cleanliness of the drill hole, not the quality of the screws.

Installation in Brick Masonry:

When mounting a pull-up bar on a wall—whether it is solid brick, Poroton, pumice stone, or within older buildings—care must always be taken to ensure the drill holes do not become too large. Therefore, it is highly recommended to completely avoid using the hammer function on the drill when working with masonry. Although drilling requires slightly more effort, the quality of the drill holes is significantly higher; they do not fray, and the wall plugs hold much more securely.

Installation in Wood:

When mounting the pull-up bar directly onto wooden beams or purlins, the wall plugs are omitted. Instead, the wood must be pre-drilled, ideally utilizing a 3.5 to 4 mm drill bit (depending on the specific type of wood), to effectively relieve the tension that would otherwise be created by driving the screw.

Installation in Aerated Concrete / Ytong Masonry:

This specific mounting set is strictly not suitable for the installation of a pull-up bar on Ytong, aerated concrete, or lightweight concrete walls.
