Meanwhile, many different pull-up bars are manufactured upon request. These models are offered as custom solutions for the ceiling, wall, beam, hallway, or other mounting locations.
Recently, it has also become possible to weld square plates as wall or ceiling brackets onto the pull-up bars. As a standard, the pull-up bars feature round plates that are 150 mm in diameter and provided with four drill holes each, arranged in a bolt circle of 125 mm (centered). The thickness of the plates is 8 mm.
The reason for this innovation: It sometimes occurs that the round plates are simply too large for specific mounting locations. This is the case, for example, if the pull-up bar is to be attached to a wooden beam that is only 120 mm wide.
The picture below shows such a square plate, with sides each measuring 100 mm in length. Pull-up bars equipped with these plates can be seamlessly mounted on beams with a width of at least 120 mm. A steel beam must be at least 100 mm wide in this context.
