Wall-Mounted Pull-Up Bar Dimensions

dimensions_pull-up_bar_w4

Pull-ups are a very versatile exercise. They can be done with a narrow or wide grip, for example. The right grip width for a pull-up really depends on your body type and how tough you want the exercise to be.

The image above shows the most important dimensions of our wall-mounted pull-up bar. They're meant to give you an idea of the bar's size and encourage you to try out different pull-up variations. Just hold your hands up to the different grip positions to get a better feel for the possible pull-ups you can do on our wall-mounted bar.

Overall, the shape of our wall-mounted pull-up bar allows almost everyone to do a wide variety of pull-ups. For example, pros and competitive athletes can do very intense pull-ups on the curved ends of the bar. On the other hand, you can also do very basic pull-ups on the straight parts of the bar. The additional grips let you do parallel-grip pull-ups—a real game-changer if you haven't tried them before.

The shape and safety of our pull-up bars are designed to fit the average user. An average user would be someone between 3'11" and 7' 6" tall (120 - 230 cm) and weighing up to 330 lbs (150 kg).

With that in mind, the diameter of our pull-up bars is 1.2 inches (30 mm). This diameter provides a secure and comfortable grip. The total width of the wall-mounted bar is 46.5 inches (118 cm). The parallel grips are either 7.9 inches (20 cm) or 24 inches (61 cm) apart, depending on the model.

If the dimensions shown here don't work for you, for example, because you're very tall or your installation spot is too small, then just check out our custom orders page. We offer various customizations there. We make our pull-up bars ourselves, so we can also accommodate individual needs.
